Clean, Oil and Adjust (COA) **

The COA is complete disassembly of the instrument, including:

Cleaning of the body and neck; polishing of silver horns.

All keys/parts are cleaned /polished by hand.

All old lubricants are cleaned from keywork and replaced with fresh grease and oil.

All pads are individually cleaned by hand.

Pads and materials (cork, felt, etc) are replaced as needed.

Instrument is reassembled and setup.

Soprano, Alto, Tenor COA - $350 (+$150 for silver polish)

Baritone COA - $400 (+$200 for silver polish)

Professional Overhaul

An Overhaul is the complete mechanical restoration of the instrument. Saxodillo overhauls start by getting all old materials off of the horn, body straightening and mild dent work (severe dent work to be estimated and charged as additional hourly work.), key cup leveling, key fitting, tonehole leveling, full clean and polish, replacement of ALL materials (pads, felts, corks), and then meticulously set up.

Vintage Soprano, Alto, Tenor - $1500 + Pads

Vintage Baritone - $1800 + Pads

*'Modern' refers to any horn with MKVI-style, or newer, key work/mechanisms.

Pad Options:

Traditional Tan - $150/set

ROO Pads (Black, Brown or White) - $250/set

Pisoni PRO Pads - $350/set

Pads include standard metal or plastic resonators. Brass or plated resonators will be available upon request, for an additional cost.

New Horn Setup

Unfortunately, even our brand new instruments require adjustment from the factory. Getting your instrument setup professionally once it has left the factory will lead to a much more enjoyable playing experience. Our New Horn Setup includes adjustment of spring tensions, material replacements as needed, meticulous leak work, complete regulation and play testing for key heights. All to provide a more consistent feel.
