Clean, Oil and Adjust (COA) **
The COA is complete disassembly of the instrument, including:
Cleaning of the body and neck; polishing of silver horns.
All keys/parts are cleaned /polished by hand.
All old lubricants are cleaned from keywork and replaced with fresh grease and oil.
All pads are individually cleaned by hand.
Pads and materials (cork, felt, etc) are replaced as needed.
Instrument is reassembled and setup.
Soprano, Alto, Tenor COA - $300 (+$150 for silver polish)
Baritone COA - $375 (+$200 for silver polish)

Professional Overhaul
Complete disassembly and cleaning of the body and neck
Hand clean keys, rods and hinge tubes of all old dirt and lubricants
Straightening of body and removal of any dents
Refit keys to eliminate any lateral or radial movement
Pad cups are leveled for ease of pad seat
Tone holes are leveled and resurfaced for a consistent pad seal
New pad and resonator set - pad options below
Replace all materials such as key corks, felt, Teflon, etc…
Reassemble instrument with fresh oils
Full seating of new pads
Adjust keys heights for intonation and response
Break in!

*The term “modern” refers to any horn with Selmer MKVI-style keywork/mechanisms or newer.

New Horn Setup
Unfortunately, even our brand new instruments require adjustment from the factory. Getting your instrument setup professionally once it has left the factory will lead to a much more enjoyable playing experience. Our New Horn Setup includes adjustment of spring tensions, material replacements as needed, meticulous leak work, complete regulation and play testing for key heights. All to provide a more consistent feel.

Student*** Repad
ALL horns need love. ALL horns, at some point in their life, need new pads. This service is essentially a mini-overhaul (see Professional Overhaul on left), bringing a new life to your horn!
This service follows all the parameters of the professional overhaul, minus the key fitting. This is most possible work I feel justified doing before it becomes a better idea to just buy a new instrument.
